INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Bacon (cut in lumps)
1 small c Spicy sausage (peeled, sliced)
1 Pepperoni (sliced)
0.26 lb Boiled ham (cut in lumps)
2 Garlic cloves (minced)
4 tbsp Olive oil
1.1 lb Tomatoes (peeled, cut in lumps)
1 1/2 c Rice
3/4 c Peas (boiled)
1/3 tsp Paprika
Salt and pepper
some Crocus powder
25 oz Chicken broth
3/4 small c Cheese flake

For: 3 to 4 servings

 

PREPARATION

Saute the bacon and sausage in 2 tablespoon of scorching olive oil, for 5 minutes, stirring continually. Add ham and saute it for another 5 minutes. Take the mixture out of the pan and keep it warm.

Saute the pepperoni slices for 5 minutes and put them aside. Pre-heat the oven at 356°F / 180°C. After that, saute the garlic in the rest of olive oil. gradually add tomato pieces, rice, bacon, ham, paprika, pepperonis, salt and pepper. Saute them together for some minutes.

Move the mixture into a pyrex griddle, thin the crocus powder into the hot chicken broth, empty it into the pyrex griddle, add peas and bake the food for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring from time to time.

When ready, put the lid on, let the food rest for 10 minutes, dredge it with the cheese flakes and serve it.
