Apple Sauce
INGREDIENTS
9 Apples, chopped
3 Tbs. Lemon juice
3 Tbs. Brown sugar or 1 1/2 Tbs. Honey
2 Tbs. Water
1/2 Tsp. Ground cinnamon
PREPARATION
1. In a 4-quart saucepan, combine the apples, lemon juice, sugar
or honey, water and cinnamon.
2. Cover and place over medium-low heat.
Cook, stirring frequently, for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the
apples are very tender.
3. Transfer to a large bowl, coarsely mash,
cover, and chill.
