BBQ Sloppy Joes on Bunny Buns

INGREDIENTS

1 can Pillsbury Refrigerated Wheat Home style Loaf (1 lb. 1.4 oz)
1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef
1 medium onion, halved, thinly sliced (1 cup)
1 can tomato sauce (8-oz)
1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Make: 8 sandwiches.

PREPARATION

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheet. Remove dough from can: do not unroll. Cut loaf into 8 slices. Place cut side up at least 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Starting at two opposite edges of slices, make ears with scissors by clipping 2 angled cuts 1 1/2 inches long, it top of dough. Make 1/4 inch cut at other end for tail. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cover tips of ears with small pieces of foil after 10 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.

2. Meanwhile, heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add ground beef and onion: cook until beef is thoroughly cooked and onion is tender. Drain. Add tomato sauce and barbecue sauce; mix well. Cook until bubbly, stirring frequently.

3. To serve, split bunny buns. Spoon about 1/2 cup beef mixture into buns.
